The theatre is waiting for the audience

New Year's vacation at the Astrakhan state theatre of Opera and Ballet comes to the end. This week residents of Astrakhan can already enjoy the best performances of our actors again. On Saturday and Sunday the ballet "Nutcracker" will be presented to the audience.

Both children and adults, following ingenious music, plunging into the atmosphere of a miracle, believe that the power of love will overcome the most evil spells. The nutcracker is the fairy tale which needs to be looked whole family. Usually, the acquaintance of children with the art of a ballet performance begins with this ballet of P. Tchaikovsky. For more than century history "Nutcracker" knew different interpretations, but the Astrakhan ballet troupe follows classical traditions directed by favorite ballet performances. It will present to residents of Astrakhan in author's choreography of K. Uralsky according to the scenario plan of great M. Petipa.

Also on Saturday the Small stage will be waiting for its funs. There will reign comedy-vaudeville "Trouble from gentle Heart".

Action of the play happens in the nineteenth century, but the intriguing plot is attractive also to our contemporaries - human passions, defects and weaknesses are old as the world. Action happens in St. Petersburg, but all characters are the natives of Tambov who have remained the same deep provincials. The farmer Zolotnikov comes to the capital to the girlfriend of his youth to marry his only son Alexander. Alexander "every day is in love", he has a gentle heart, it responds to each girl and even to several at the same time! But hearts of the girls and their mummies who dreaming to marry off their daughters instantly respond to a message about the wealth of the groom … Intricate intrigue saves only a clever move made by his father.

In vaudeville, as expected, you will have a sparkling humor, vivid comic characters, and, of course, won't do without passionate romances.
