Rossini’s success seems to be predicted. He was born in the family of a poor orchestral musician and a provincial opera singer. The composer to be was already familiar with the life and customs that prevailed in Italian opera houses since his childhood. A passionate temper, a mocking mind and a sharp tongue coexisted in the nature of little Gioachino with subtle sense of music,

absolute pitch and an extraordinary memory. Being a little boy Gioachino performed in Ferdinando Paer’s opera “Camilla” as a little Adolfo. His first appearance was very successful.

At the age of 20 Gioachino was already the author of six operas which were the next step in the development of his composing skills. It was no longer possible to stop. All of his works were masterpieces. You’ll make sure after seeing the theatrical concert “Delightful Rossini”. Thanks to the sequence of concert turns the audience will take part in an exciting journey through the musical maze made of the solo, ensemble and orchestral masterpieces of the Italian composer.

The fragments of the operas “The Barber of Seville”, “Cinderella”, “Othello”, “Adina” , “Semiramis”, “Marriage By Promissory Note” and others will be included in the bright, rich program. All the participants of the concert will perform in the Neapolitan tarantella full of sparkling movement that will crown the program. The fragments are united by the atmosphere of festival and musical harmony. The leading soloists of the Astrakhan State Opera and Ballet Theater - Irina Belaya, Alexander Malyshko, Yana Paklyanova, Ivan Mikhailov, Zinaida Dyuzhova, Evgenia Startseva and many others will participate in the concert program.
