“Music on the Grass” festival starts

On May 3, the festival "Music on the Grass", already fond of Astrakhans, starts. The festival is held for the fourth time. Every week in May, music of different genres and directions, performed by the best local ensembles and groups, the soloists and musicians of the Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theatre, will sound in the Theatre Park. Astrakhans will listen to classical and popular music  in the open air until May 31. The idea of ​​the festival "Music on the grass" is to create additional cultural leisure for residents and visitors of the city.On the first day of the festival the music of the cinema will sound. Astrakhans and guests of the city will listen to their favorite and time-tested popular songs from the movies "Mary Poppins", "June 31", "12 Chairs", "Amphibian Man", "Caucasian Kidnapped", "Diamond Hand", as well as foreign hits from the cult films "Breakfast at Tiffany’s", "Some Like it Hot", "The Fifth Element", "Titanic" and many other famous songs.Recreation areas, spectator areas, etc  will be organized during the concerts in the Theatre Park. The entrance for spectators is free. Leisure in the open air, interesting communication, meeting with beloved bands and performers, a variety of musical styles and directions, competitions and prizes from partners - all this makes it possible to call the festival "Music on the Grass" a unique one.Tomorrow, we are waiting for our audience at the opening of the festival. Do not forget the rugs, and our soloists Oksana Voronina, Elena Trofimenko, Kristina Nikiforova, Ruslan Sigbatulin, Evgenia Startseva, Alexander Malyshko, Irina Lopatina, Konstantin Sklyarov, Rafael Shukurov guarantee you good mood. The instrumental ensemble under Yuri Elperin is playing in the open air.
