The Theater was happy to greet the ballet dancers and musicians of the symphony orchestra. The meeting was long-awaited, because a long tour ended in England. In total, the theater troupe was away from home for almost a month and a half.
The artists shared the peculiarities of their touring life with leading regional media and with members of the theater club over a cup of tea in a friendly atmosphere. The meeting was attended by the artistic director of the ballet, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Konstantin Uralsky, teacher and tutor Esmiralda Mamedova, conductor Yevgeny Kirillov, honored artist of Russia, assistant to the main conductor Igor Kukhar, accompanists Viktor Baksheyev and Yevgeny Petryayev, assistant director Anna Kuzmina and the solists of the ballet troupe Maria Stets, Aigul Almukhametova, Daniil Sokolov, Maxim Melnikov, Haruka Nomura, Karina Likhanova.
As Konstantin Uralsky noted, it was an anniversary tour because the troupe leaves for England for the fifth time: “I had to leave the troupe twice to take part in the jury of various competitions. When I returned, I looked at the troupe as if from the outside. I’m absolutely sure that this is already a strong creative team, you can rely on them. There were difficult situations when you had to go on stage even with fever. Both the ballet dancers and the musicians of the symphony orchestra showed professional endurance and reliability.”
For the teacher and tutor, Esmiralda Mamedova, it was the first tour in England. She noted: “Nothing has changed when we went on tour. Artists had performances, rehearsals and lessons every day. Long-distance journeys, about 300 km, performances, and then the way back to the hotel only make you to be stronger and more determined. After all, it is important not to show the audience your emotional state, it is important to perform on the stage, as for the first time. ”
As for the work of the symphony orchestra, we often had to perform together. The orchestra pits of some theaters were much smaller than the native stage. And as the musicians noted: “Politics is politics, but the reaction of the public was very nice. They shouted “bravo” to all the artists and at the end of the performance approached the orchestra pit and thanked the musicians. ”
Ballet dancers and musicians have their fans in England thanks to the last five years. Often after the performances they took autographs and pictures with our soloists as a souvenir, said the participants of the press conference. Maria Stets told an amazing story about how one of the spectators, inspired by Swan Lake, wrote two works of his own.
After returning from England the ballet dancers immediately began rehearsing. On December 14, 15, 16 they will appear on their own stage in the play “The Nutcracker”. The tour will open in China on December 21
