Musical gift for fans of Italian opera

   The Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theater invites you to an exquisite fantasy on a Japanese theme - the famous Madame Butterfly opera by J. Puccini on May 5. The performance will be conducted by the famous Italian conductor, professor, chief conductor of the Macedonian State Opera and Ballet Theater Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli. He is also a guest conductor of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, the Istanbul National Symphony Orchestra, the National Theater Belgrade Orchestra and the Mexican Symphony Orchestra. His professional list is rich in big names: Cecilia Bartoli, Anna Pirozzi, Simon Orfila, Roberto Scandiuzzi, Orlin Anastasov, Anna Maria Chiuri, Alexandra Zabala, Dimitar Feodossiu, Angela Georgiu, Fiorenza Sedolins, Rudi Park, Yadranka Yovovichychivichoi, Angelo Georgiou, Fiorenza Sedolins, Rudi Park, Yadranka Yovovichevichi, Yedranka Yovrovichiu Giuroguiou, Fiorentz Sedolin’s 'Annunzio Lombardi, as well as with the soloists Stefano Bollani, Michel Campanella, Sandro Ivo Bartoli, Carlo Maria Paralesicen, Carlo Maria.

   Jacopo Sipari is considered to be one of the best Italian conductors performing works by Giacomo Puccini.

   A young and talented conductor is unique in his professional preferences. He is good at two clearly different areas: music and jurisprudence. Jacopo Sipari became a lawyer at the Rome Court, a criminal law assistant at the University of Roma Tre, and then received a doctoral degree in canon law. He is also the youngest lawyer of the Apostolic Tribunal of the Roman Company. In one the interviews the conductor admitted that it was very difficult to combine music with the study of law, but he considers studying to be the main priority.

The Italian conductor will arrive in Astrakhan on May 3 to take part in rehearsals a few days before the performance, to feel the stage better and get to know our soloists.
