The Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theater presented the premiere: the ballet "Le Pari". The production is the debut of the People's Artist of Russia Dmitry Gudanov as a choreographer. The choreographer took the love story between the genius Fryderyk Chopin and Georges Sand as the basis for the stage action.
In the first part, the "Golden Music of Chopin ..." was performed by the famous French pianist Francois Dumont. Astrakhan theatergoers heard waltzes, ballads, nocturnes, scherzo, the composer's lullaby. The musician conveyed the charm of Chopin's music in an unusually touching and gentle manner.
In the second part, Paris of the 30s of the XIX century, the secular salon of Countess Marie d’ Agoult and distinguished guests came to life in front of the audience. The part of the famous writer known under the pseudonym Georges Sand was brilliantly performed by the People's Artist of Russia, the star of the world ballet Maria Alexandrova. The great composer, refined and delicate Chopin was played by the premier of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, Honored Artist of Russia Semyon Chudin. The part of Franz Liszt was presented by the premier of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, Honored Artist of Russia Vladislav Lantratov. Ballet dancers performed with the stars
Joy Annabel Womack (Marie d'Agoult), Maria Stetc (Carlotta Marliani), Anna Nikonova (Marie Dorval), Camilla Ismagilova (Maria Taglioni), Natalia Korobeinikova, Honored Artist of the Republic of Udmurtia (Georges Sand, aged), laureates of international competitions Alena Tatsenko ( Pauline Viardot), Vsevolod Tabachuk (Eugene Delacroix) and others.
The atmosphere of exquisite Paris was conveyed by magnificent historical costumes created by the famous Russian designer Kirill Gasilin.
The performance was accompanied by a symphony orchestra conducted by maestro Valery Voronin. The audience appreciated the high professional skills of all the participants in the theatrical performance. The fact that the performance was really a success was evidenced by the reaction of the audience, who for a long time did not want to let the performers leave the stage.
