“The Caspian Seasons” Festival will end with a unique concert “PAS DE DEUX ON THE TOES AND FOR THE FINGERS”

On the first day of autumn, the Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theater invites the citizens of Astrakhan to a unique joint project of the legend of the world ballet, prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater and La Scala Theater in Milan Svetlana Zakharova and the world-famous violinist, the People's Artist of the Russian Federation, the Laureate of international competitions Vadim Repin.

The program “PAS DE DEUX ON THE TOES AND FOR THE FINGERS” will be the final part of the IV festival of classical art “Caspian Seasons”, and will give the audience unforgettable impressions from the performance of the recognized masters of classical ballet and academic musical art.

This project is unique in the art of music and ballet. There will be two world stars on one stage: she is a marvel in the world of dance, he is unmatched in virtuoso violin playing – they are the artists who complement each other not only in life, but also on stage. Love with the help of the magic of art is embodied in joint creativity. This program has already become a hit on many stages of the world.

The concert program will feature the principal dancers of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia Artemy Belyakov and Mikhail Lobukhin, and the first soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia Denis Zakharov.

The project will combine a dance program consisting of classical numbers and works by contemporary choreographers. They will include the following: adagio from the ballet Raymonda, and fragments from Caravaggio, Revelation and The Dying Swan, which has become a symbol of Russian culture.

The musical part of the program will include works of chamber and symphonic music; alongside the classical pieces of the orchestral repertoire, some rare ones will be performed. The audience will hear “Carnival of Venice” for violin and chamber orchestra, Gypsy Airs for violin and orchestra, meditation from the opera Thaïs, Csárdás, and other works.

The soloists will be accompanied by the Symphonic Orchestra of the Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theatre under the baton of the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor Valery Voronin.

“PAS DE DEUX ON THE TOES AND FOR THE FINGERS” will be the final chord of the International Festival of Classical Art “Caspian Seasons”, which is held as part of the national project “Culture”.
