Choreographer, senior teacher-tutor of the Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theater.

 

He graduated from the Moscow Academic Choreographic School in 1979 class of professor P.A. Pestov, and was accepted into the troupe of the Bolshoi Theater of the USSR.

After leaving the Bolshoi Theater of the USSR, he became interested in modern dance (modern dance, contemporary dance) and was accepted into the Moscow troupe of the St. Petersburg choreographer L.S. Lebedev “Lebedev modern dance company” where he was a leading dancer.

In 1996, Romashko Yu.A. was accepted into the modern troupe of the Chamber Ballet "Moscow", first as a soloist, and then as a teacher-tutor.

Since 2015, the teacher-tutor and choreographer of the Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theater.
