Cultural weekend in the theatre of Opera and Ballet

On Saturday and Sunday the Small Hall of the Astrakhan state theatre of Opera and Ballet will be waiting for the fans. Soloists of our theatre prepared the gift for fans of a retro music. There will sound the hits of a foreign music. Music of 20th, 30th and 40th years which isn't forgotten, which warms soul and causes the most warm and pleasant memories.

The well-known hits will raise the mood of our audience: "The Parisian tango", "Istambul", "Hello Dolly", "Besame Mucho" and many others.

The whole evening will play instrumental ensemble under the control of Yury Elperin. Host of the program Yulia Skripchenkova.

And on Sunday, on January 29 at 18:00 in the Big Hall of the Astrakhan state theatre of Opera and Ballet will be played the dramatic legend "The damnation of Faust" of the French composer Hector Berlioz.

In a performance the new theatrical and visual technologies are used which, perhaps, were never applied on theatrical stages before: the technologies allowing to create grandiose effect of 3D space! The audience is literally immersed in the bottomless depths of space, in fantasy worlds and in the terrifying hellhole. This production breaks a stereotype that the opera is boring and isn't interesting. Perhaps, young audience will be able to appreciate the stunning modernity of the play. This production was nominated for the award "Golden mask" in 2017, and you have the opportunity to enjoy it before the Moscow audience.
