On April 8, on birthday anniversary of the 20th century great opera singer Maria Petrovna Maksakova, the Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theatre opened the 14th International Vocal Art Festival named after Barsova and Maksakova. After five bright and full of events days, the Festival finished its work.
The famous guests of the Festival, Astrakhan soloists, choir, the Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theatre Symphony orchestra under Valery Voronin took part in the gala concert that took place on the Big Hall stage of the Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theatre .
