Astrakhan ballet troupe will be touring in the Park of Science and Arts "Sirius"

On 21 and 22 June in Sochi, the ballet troupe of the Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theater will present the best examples of the classical repertoire: the ballet P. Tchaikovsky's “Swan Lake” and A. Adan's ballet “Giselle”. The tour will take place in the Sirius Science and Art Park. About 60 people will take part in the tour, including ballet dancers and technical staff.

On June 21, the performance “Swan Lake” will open the festival of the Russian regions, designed to acquaint spectators with the symbolic projects of Russian theaters. Starting from the premiere to the present day the house is sold out. “Swan Lake” has a great success on the stage of famous theaters in Europe and is the most popular performance on the tour map of the theater.

On June 22, the residents and guests of Sochi will see the play “Giselle”. This ballet appeared only in 2018 in the repertoire of the theater, but immediately learned the recognition and love of the public. The ballet performance by A. Adana “Giselle” is an amazing story about immortal love, treacherous betrayal, forgiveness that gives life.

The Astrakhan State Opera and Ballet Theater is actively touring in Russia and abroad. The development of touring activities today is of particular importance for interregional cooperation in the cultural sphere.
