Less than a month remains until the opening of the festival

The Vocal Art  Festival named after Valery Barsova and Maria Maksakova is one of the brightest events of the musical life of our region. The Festival is held twice a year for more than 25 years. The Astrakhans were waiting for  the 14th International Festival for 3 years and this year the event will be dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Astrakhan province.

The grand opening will be held on April 8 in the walls of the Astrakhan State Opera and Ballet Theatre. Within five days, opera stars will give their art to Astrakhan viewers. Famous soloists: Petr Migunov - the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, Andrey Valentiy - the National Bolshoi Theatre of the Belarus Republic, Alexander Timchenko - the Mariinsky Theater, Ekaterina Bogacheva - the Sochi Philharmonic Society, Anastasia Lepeshinskaya - the Ekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theatre and others have confirmed their participation.  Each week we will represent you the participants of the Festival. Each of them deserves special attention.

Meet! The best soprano of Sochi!

Ekaterina Bogacheva has graduated from Gnesin’ Academy, she is a leading soloist of the Sochi Philharmonic Society, a laureate of International and National Competitions. She took an active part in concert programs in the framework of the “Sochi 2014” Cultural Olympiad, of the Winter International Festival of Arts in Sochi under the leadership of maestro Yuri Bashmet and others.

At the end of last year Ekaterina performed for the first time in the framework of organ concerts at the Astrakhan Conservatory and the church. Astrakhans managed to appreciate the delicate, flighty, beautiful soprano and the natural charm of the opera diva.

Bogacheva will take part in the opening of the  Vocal Art Festival named after V.Barsova and M.Maksakova and she will perform in the concert of ORNI with romances.

You can buy tickets for the International Festival at the ticket offices of the Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theatre, on Chudobilet.rf and in the Astrakhan Philharmonic Society. The price of tickets is from 150 to 450 rubles.
